Charter Review Committee

Although the City Council has decided to move forward with placing an amendment to the charter on the November 2009 ballot to replace the current spending limit with a debt limit, the Council still feels that it is necessary to establish a committee to do a more in depth review of the charter.  The committee will make a recommendation to the Council as to the changes that they feel should be considered by the voters of Lafayette.  If you are interested in participating on this committee, please complete a volunteer application and return it to City Hall.
