CITY BOARDS AND COMMITTEES

BUDGET COMMITTEE

The budget committee is comprised of seven citizens appointed by the council for 3-year terms and the city council members themselves.  The committee reviews and recommends to the city council the annual operating budget pursuant to state budget law.

PLANNING COMMISSION

The planning commission is comprised of six residents and one resident of the City’s influence area outside the City limits.  They are appointed by the city council for four-year terms.  This commission makes recommendations to the council on current development proposals and long-range planning.  Next Meeting: TBA
