State of Oregon Transportation Grant Received

The State of Oregon's Transportation and Growth Management (TGM) Program has selected the Lafayette Transportation System Plan Update to move forward to the next stage of the grant award process.

 

This was the second application for the grant in two years.  Based on plan needs and scope of work, cities are expected to have their plans completed between June 2027 and May 2028. 

 

"Today is a significant milestone for Lafayette. Traffic congestion remains a pressing concern. The State of Oregon grant will enable us to develop a comprehensive traffic management plan. This plan will help us address current traffic challenges and create a more livable city. We hope to use this plan to secure future funding and implement effective traffic solutions."- Branden Dross, City Administrator
