Lafayette Appliance Rebate Program

The Lafayette City Council approved Resolution 2016-03, establishing an Appliance Rebate Program for residents.  Lafayette residents who purchase water conserving appliances to replace older, inefficient appliances, can become eligible for a one-time credit on their Lafayette water account.  The applicant’s water account must be in good standing, fill out the applicable form below and attach a receipt that clearly shows the brand/model of the appliance purchased. The City is offering these credits for the following appliances:

High-Efficiency Toilet (HET)

Toilets are typically the largest water user.  To encourage water customers to replace their old toilets with efficient, water-conserving models, the City is offering a $40 one-time credit to water utility accounts.  Customers can replace up to 2 toilets with a qualifying model to receive the credit.

Dishwasher

Residential property owners or renters who replace older, inefficient dishwashers by purchasing a new ENERGY STAR certified dishwasher, can receive a one-time credit on their Lafayette water utility account of $25.

Washing Machine

Residential property owners or renters who replace older, inefficient washing machines by purchasing a new ENERGY STAR certified washing machine, can receive a one-time credit on their Lafayette water utility account of $50.  Qualifying washing machines use 40 percent less water.
