Parks
The City of Lafayette maintains seven parks within the City:
- Abigail Scott Duniway Park: A small park located in the heart of downtown Lafayette honoring one of the nation's prominent advocates for women's right to vote.
- Commons Park: Home to a small baseball/softball diamond, ample open area and the Lafayette Community Center.
- Community Pride Park: A neighborhood park with a large lawn, gazebo and play structure.
- Joel Perkins Park: Named for the City's founder and located on a site set aside in the original plat.
- Plantation Park: A small pocket park at the intersection of W. 14th St. and Cramner St.
- Terry Park: A more natural park area at the southern entrance to the City along the beautiful Yamhill River.
- Veteran's Park: An undeveloped parcel that will eventually be home to outdoor recreation amenities and a memorial to Lafayette's service members
